Anna Hymas Paintings
Updated a lot of artist pages on MoMa this week. Anna Hymas is a London based artist, who sells just about everything she puts on Saatchi Art, prints are still available for most with 8 x 10” size starting at $50.
Inspired by the intricate patterns found in nature, Venezuelan artist Claudia Bueno created Pulse, a stunning light installation at Meow Wolf’s new exhibition space in Las Vegas. It comprises layers of white line drawings on 60 glass panels that, when illuminated, appear to move and throb like living organisms.

Enjoyed this interview with Italian artist Paola Pivi and New York gallerist Emmanuel Perrotin on their fun & quirky relationship. Here’s Perrotin on their first meeting:
Maurizio Cattelan told me, “You have to meet this lady at the Venice Biennale.” Paola was 28 years old at the time and had created an upside-down airplane. I thought, She’s crazy or she’s a genius. I asked her, “What the hell is this sculpture?” She said, “Imagine you are in the grass and you’re looking at the plane in the sky, except it’s the reverse situation.” That’s when I knew she was a genius.
